Ratio of output pressure p2abs and input pressure p1abs which marks the transition from choked flow (sonic velocity in narrowest section) to subsonic flow
kv The kv-value.
Measured with water at a pressure drop 1 bar over the valve.
Kv The Kv-value.
As above but expressed in m3/hr.
Cv The Cv-value (US gallons/min).
Measured with water at a pressure drop 1 psi (0.07 bar) over the valve.
